Meet Adam Burley, Adam is a client at Ability Care and has a rare form of Epilepsy called Dravet Syndrome. Adam lives with constant seizures and the family are finding that the more Adam swims the less his seizure activity is.
Last week at Ballymore, Adam had the opportunity to meet somewhat of a local hero, Thomas Broich from the Brisbane Roar.  In a recent game Thomas won man of the  match and generously donated  every  last cent of his $500 winnings to Adam’s family to help pay for the cost of heating the family swimming pool, hence allowing Adam access to the pool all year round, regardless of the  season.
The team at Ability Care would like to thank Mr Broich for his kind donation and encourage the community to dig deep and help the Burley family to continue to afford their son an ability to reduce daily seizures.
To encourage donations, the Brisbane Roar have generously donated a game ball signed by the team. One lucky donor will win this ball. Further to this your donation will be tax deductable.
